ROLE DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE

The SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) offering is a comprehensive cloud offering and an essential part of the overall Cloud Strategy of SAP. SAP HEC allows customers to run their SAP S4/HANA and other SAP Applications powered by SAP HANA, in a managed private cloud environment. In combination with the SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) and Public Cloud solutions from SAP, it provides a comprehensive and holistic approach for the customer’s Cloud Strategy.

We have big growth ambitions and want to extend the Nordic team with the best sales professionals in the market.

In this important sales role, you will be expected to provide leadership and drive the execution of growth plans for HEC in the assigned territory. In other words, ensure SAP’s success as THE cloud company by helping our customers gain the benefits of having their applications run on HANA and delivered as a cloud service.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  • Territory Planning and Business Development

  • Develop an account and territory strategy for the HEC space in conjunction with other SAP stakeholders (regional, Cluster, Market Unit) in order to meet quarterly and annual targets.

  • Build and manage sales funnel for HEC services (4x rolling 4 quarter pipeline).

  • Develop specific account strategies in a sophisticated and complex business environment,

  • Drive and support HEC GTM campaigns in alignment with License Sales and Industry and Solution colleagues

  • Plan and execute customer events to push innovative services and drive customer demand

  • Support regional industry & solution demand generation programs

Deal Execution

  • Drive opportunities (based on initial plan, whitespace, etc.) from qualification to closure – often as the SAP Opportunity Owner and Deal Maker.

  • Change the game (serve as a competitive differentiator) in strategic SAP deals through solution differentiation and thought leadership

  • Leverage the SAP ecosystem & C-level relationships to accelerate deals

Admin

  • Perform sales administrative functions to support the overall HEC success such as opportunity and pipeline management in CRM, contract negotiations and hand-over to project and operations team.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience

  • Minimum 5 years of customer facing/direct selling experience

  • Minimum 5 years of solutions selling experience in a service/software sales environment

  • Business Process Outsourcing, Application and Infrastructure Outsourcing, Software as a Service or Infrastructure as a Service experience from a sales and/or marketing role required.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Fluency in English and Polish required.

  • Fluency in Ukraininan or Russian will be a great advantage.

  • Superlative written and oral communication skills

  • Knowledgeable of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition will be a great advantage

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Hosting Software systems inclusive of Cloud Solutions

  • History of successfully selling technology to large corporate customers including on CxO level.

  • Business insight and acumen

  • Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Deal Making/closing skills
