The Market Introduction (MI) Unit is part of the Global Post Sales Operations Organization within the board area Global Business Operations and is SAP’s central unit that collaborates with the very first customers for new SAP solutions before and immediately after they are released to the market. This includes a strong alignment with regional local SAP field stakeholders, partner eco-system, User Groups and individual customer interaction. Getting the feedback from early customer implementation projects will create the transparency in Innovation Adoption by our customer community.


The working student will work together with the SAP S/4HANA Customer Care Program Lead. He/she will support in program management and related reporting activities of the SAP Early Adopter Care Services for S/4HANA. The results and progresses of this service are reported monthly as SAP Board, Executive Management and further audiences. Additional tasks of the working student will be day-to-day operations as well as in the area of customer feedbacks.

These are main tasks of the working student:

  • Support S/4HANA Customer Care Program Lead in Program Management, Program Reporting, Customer Project Transparency, etc.

  • Communication with SAP roles as sales and consulting in relation to S/4HANA projects, i. e. to clarify project content, timelines and milestones to identify new projects or evaluate live projects.

  • Responsible in conjunction with Program Lead for driving customer feedback activities of customers using SAP’s S/4HANA. Example tasks would be aligning customer feedback with further SAP units as account teams, Digital Business Services as well as Product management.

  • Responsible in conjunction with Program Lead for development of documentation / presentations supporting project coaches in their daily life

  • With growing experiences around customer feedback activities, the working student should himself/herself interview customers with the guidance of the Program Lead and afterwards plan follow up activities e.g. creation of Success Stories incl. recognition of involved team


  • Currently enrolled Student - preferred field(s) of study: Economics, Business Engineer, Sciences

  • Computer skills: MS Office

  • Language skills: fluent English, German optional

  • Soft skills: Communicative, result focussed, self-reliant and structured
