PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The “Internal Solutions” team is a part of the IT Services organization. The team supports most of SAP’s internal web platforms; and hence plays and integral role in SAP’s strategy to become THE cloud company. The team will leverage SAP Technology and 3rd Party Tools to deliver a next generation intranet solution. The team collaborates closely with our Standard Development units in all innovation phases including prototype development, piloting new solutions, and development of new and existing products and solutions to take advantage of the latest technologies and trends.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

You will be working in a fast-paced technical environment and actively shaping SAP’s internal platform and work in an agile setup.

Your role will have the following tasks:

  • Support the creation of web content and perform associated administrative tasks

  • Consult web page design with respect to style guide compliance and user-centricity

  • Gather and consolidate requirements and improvements

  • Support quality initiatives

  • Coordinate customer requests, implementation and quality check on publishing services

  • Project support

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student at a university or a university of applied sciences

  • Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration

  • Computer skills:

  • Experience with Content Management Systems and Webpage Design, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS

  • Profound knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

  • Usage of image editing software, e.g. Adobe Photoshop (not mandatory)

  • Language skills: English (fluent)

  • Soft skills: Interest in exploring new ways to effectively share knowledge within a global company via intranet and social media

  • Others: Strong team spirit and interest in and some talent for communication tasks
