PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP GBO IT Services CX Support Application Landscape cares for the worldwide Support Systems of SAP and implements the SAP specific applications needed for the Support processes (Service Delivery, Customer Engagement, Incident Management, Remote Support).

The new responsibility to define and implement the architecture and the foundation of the new customer portal came on top. To achieve this a new scrum team is set up. We are searching highly motivated and talented people who are going to help to continuously improve SAP’s customer experience.

The area has about 80 employees located in Germany, China, Austria, Australia and USA. This infrastructure is currently experience massive changes and new responsibilities are handed over to this area. Be part of this interesting, new journey.

TASKS

  • Write product documentation as a dedicated, integrated, co-located member of an engineering team that runs Agile development processes.

  • Work closely with the engineering team members to provide design feedback, user interface text, and documentation in short engineering sprints.

  • Plan and track own work assignments and deliver them on schedule with high quality.

  • Represent documentation to the engineering team and implement their feedback to your deliverables.

  • Document new features and maintain current documentation set.

  • Testing of the software that you describe.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. technical writers) to constantly improve the quality of your deliverables.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Degree in technical writing or similar field

  • Strong writing skills about technical topics

  • General understanding of complex technical concepts & software development processes

  • Technical aptitude combined with a networker: Ability to communicate effectively with software engineers, software product managers, and user interface designers

  • Fluency in German and English

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Very good teamwork characteristics

  • Basis programming skills for UX design preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

Relevant experience in technical writing or similar field
