PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As the largest and most diverse team of SAP’s Global Controlling organization, the Digital Business Services (DBS) Controlling department supports its executive board member and his leadership team as well as the global head of services sales in all controlling-relevant questions and processes across the entire value chain from services sales to service delivery.
We are looking for a (Senior) Controller focusing on Global Services Sales (f/m) who will closely interact with the Global Head of Services Sales and his leadership team driving business transparency and efficiency to the next level. At the same time, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective financial planning, analytics and steering of a global sales organization facilitating the generation of over €3bn of SAP’s Services Revenue by supporting the design of incentive systems, quota setting and sales coverage planning. Due to the multiple interfaces with both global and regional Services and Sales Controlling Teams this role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working and driving outcomes in a diverse and global Team.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Act as trusted business partner for senior executives such as the Global Services Sales Head, his COO and the regional management team in all Controlling related topics
Strong interaction with the Global and Regional GCO Controlling Teams as well as Human Resources and Total Rewards
Create, write and communicate briefings, presentations and memos for senior management
Interpret, analyze and evaluate business plans and operating/ financial plans
Elaborate and drive process improvement and standardization globally, including automation possibilities
Drive in depth analysis on strategic topics, e.g. Pipeline Conversion and License Attach Rate evaluation across all regions
Further develop the financial steering model for Services Sales
Act as role model for using our own SAP products as catalyst for increased F&A efficiency
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Excellent educational foundation in Business administration ideally in finance / accounting
Superior analytical skills and process orientated thinking combined with a sound knowledge of various controlling instruments
Business level English and German, additional languages a plus
Excellent inter-cultural communication, facilitation and negotiating skills
Comfort with working in a cross-cultural team as well as independently
Experience in driving project-oriented work
- 3 years of experience including proven track record in business partnering with senior executives
