SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud solution that enables companies to react quickly to customer demands and expectations, and helps them handle changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating a short to mid-term supply plan, based on prioritized and categorized demand such as orders and forecasts.

The development of SAP Integrated Business Planning is fueled by various customer engagements and the collaboration between several teams in different locations.

You will be a member of an inspired team focusing on the development of IBP Order-based planning. The main technologies currently used are ABAP, SQL-Script and Fiori in a service-based architecture. Changing technologies and system environments require your flexibility. Teamwork and the collaboration with others is part of your daily business.

Your tasks within a scrum team

  • Implement and execute quality and test related activities according to the quality- and test strategy

  • Analyze test results and take appropriate follow-up actions

  • Ensure that our products meet all quality requirements throughout the whole software development lifecycle

  • Prepare tests, author and execute manual and/or automated tests

We expect

Required skills

  • Bachelor or master degree in computer science, natural science, business administration or a related discipline

  • Strong focus on software quality assurance

  • Good coordination skills to manage and motivate team members to execute the quality concept

  • Knowledge of QA processes (Bug Tracking, Test case repository…) and test automation concepts, and willingness to adopt, follow and improve these

  • Constructive and open-minded style of communication across teams

  • High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent in verbal and written English and German

Preferred skills

  • Programming skills in ABAP and SQL Script

  • Knowledge of Agile Software Engineering methods

  • Experience in cloud application development


3-5 years' experience in software development (preferred in a quality assurance role)​​​​​​​
