PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Strategic Finance Projects (SFP) is a Project Management Organization within the Board Area Global Finance and Administration (GFA), dedicated to deliver key strategic programs and projects on time, on budget, on quality and on value.
SFP supports the Global Field Leadership Team (GFLT) in the formulation and execution of the GFA strategy, driving the transformation of finance by delivering end-to-end program & project management services.
In his/her role, the Senior Project Consultant is responsible for leading in-house finance programs and projects and outcomes of assigned areas of responsibility. This includes IT implementation and automation projects.
We are open to offer a Rotation position for a limited period of time and support you in your functional and personal development.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Senior Project Consultant you will maintain an ongoing work plan and will ensure that all work carried out is in alignment with the goals and objectives of the business as defined by the GFLT including the following tasks:
Manage program / project teams to ensure delivery of results according to scope and budget
Resolve complex issues in own specialist area (e.g. cross-functional or cross country projects)
Work independently and with full responsibility on topics while setting priorities
Make decision to minimize risks (e.g. may have to shift deadlines in order to ensure overall goals)
Ensure understanding, trust and cooperation through effective and appropriate communication to key stakeholders
Builds and maintains collaboration with internal customers
Assess and promote the use of SAP’s standard methodology during the course of the project.
Provide regular status updates
Share best practices and provide mentoring for others in project management practices
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Masters, Bachelor’s or other University degree
Strong capability of leading cross-functional and cross-board teams as well as leading virtual teams
Organizational change management knowledge
Hands-on attitude, strong execution
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent Business English
At least five years of project management experience
Knowledge in finance processes (e.g. opportunity to cash) and compliance area (e.g. audit)
Experience and / or knowledge in logistics, export management
Experience in business requirements management in Jira and process documentation in Signavio
