Partner Innovation Lifecycle Services (PILS) is a dedicated service line responsible for supporting SAP’s overall partner strategy which focuses on providing comprehensive value to our customers through partner products The SAP Integration and Certification Center (ICC) is part of PILS and is responsible for services and certification of SAP HANA Hardware, Infrastructure-as-a- Service and Hypervisor Converged Infrastructure. We cooperate with SAP’s Technology Partners to deliver SAP HANA Hardware appliances for SAP customers.

Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model


  • Work closely with Global Technology Partners and SAP customers who want to run SAP HANA on commodity hardware

  • Run SAP HANA hardware validation tests

  • Improve and extend the SAP HANA hardware validation tests

  • Adapt SAP HANA hardware validation tests to new technologies and new types of hardware to offer customer centric services, such as commodity hardware onsite at customers

  • Optimize on the basis of feedback from Partners and customers


Required skills:

  • Ability to work well in close teamwork - Enjoy working with an international virtual team

  • Eagerness to work creatively to the highest engineering standards on challenging and pioneering work

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Thorough, diligent, precise, and quality-conscious way of working

  • Strong experience in partner management and engagement with SAP Global Partners including early technical due diligence

  • Knowledge of network technologies

  • Knowledge of Linux OS (including configuration, management, various types of filesystems, etc.)

  • Excellent English – both written and spoken, German or Chinese languages good to have

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in any of the SAP products or technology

  • Knowledge of hardware testing or certification program(s)

  • Programing languages: bash scripting, SQL, Python

  • Working experience around analysis and optimization of hardware stacks

  • Knowledge of storage systems/solutions in enterprise/data center setup


  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience

  • Demonstrable success in working with Customers and Partners in a (virtual) team environment is required
