PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Business Partner team for P&I (Product & Innovation) drives the business transformation towards THE most innovative Cloud company powered by HANA, in close cooperation with the business stakeholders. We provide consultancy and support in all people-related matters to the P&I Board Member and leadership team. The team is responsible for crafting and executing the People Portfolio for P&I in close cooperation with the business, the HR Business Partner teams around the globe, the HR COE´s and Service Delivery.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The main purpose of the PMO´s job is to drive strategic, transformational projects / programs with all stakeholders in the business and across all pillars in HR. A PMO role is key to managing all aspects of program and project planning, status updates, coordination with key stakeholders and overseeing execution. This role acts as the primary interface between the Board Areas and Countries, Global HR Practices and the P&I COO team to ensure highest level of collaboration and impact.

Responsibilities:

  • The PMO successfully delivers consumer grade customer experience through key projects e.g. related to workplace of the future, skills for the future, inclusive culture, talent attraction & retention

  • The PMO is aligning the team around the key deliverables – ensure status transparency at any time as well as timely, high quality outcomes in close alignment with all stakeholders in the business and HR

  • The PMO shapes the positioning of the team to our customers as well as within HR by creating and engaging on a compelling communication plan

  • The PMO ensures transparency into the relevant People KPIs with the right set of data, derives conclusion and drives appropriate action

Tasks:

  • Drive the P&I People Agenda - define and track the operationalization, build roll-out and engagement plans providing a simple, amazing customer experience

  • Define and orchestrate key deliverables in projects and daily operations – ensure high quality and timely execution

  • Lead programs & initiatives in HR and/or in close cooperation with the business considering customer needs, content thought leadership and industry benchmarks

  • Provide support and enablement to HRBP’s to deliver on global programs

  • Lead the interaction and collaboration with HRBP Leads around the globe, HR Practices and Service Delivery

  • Lead the interaction and collaboration with P&I COO and Controlling on hiring & budget topics

  • Act as the go-to person for several inquiries from within and outside SAP

  • Appropriately position the people impact by applying innovative approaches in communication & engagement, appealing reporting and exciting presentations c

  • Responsible for continuous improvement by regularly deriving enhancements and new approaches from data analysis

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Master’s degree preferably in Business Administration

  • Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate at C-level as well as employee

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Proactive, results-oriented and inclusive working style

  • High level of integrity, confident in dealing with sensitive matters and sensitive data

  • Flexible, creative and open-minded

  • Fluent in English and German (spoken written)

  • Ability to drive multiple parallel projects to impactful outcome through delegation and influence

  • Ability to manage various complex, time-critical and sensitive topics at the same time

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to anticipate and logistically map out future steps and possible ramifications with back up plans

  • Ability to illustrate and articulate concepts to various stakeholder groups and gain their engagement

  • Align activities with a broad and diverse range of stakeholders in an ambiguous environment

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR (ideally HRBP or PMO role) or the business with a global scope

  • Experience in working with customers on an Executive level

  • Several years of experience in leading complex projects across a diverse stakeholder map in an ambiguous environment

  • Experience in and excited by working in virtual set-ups

  • Experience in crafting communication-/engagement plans for broader audience
