PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP S/4HANA for Customer Management Engineering and Delivery Unit is a global development organization with locations in Germany, France, Finland, India and China. The organization is currently responsible to transform a set of traditional portfolio assets and to grow highly innovative newer assets under the SAP S/4HANA brand. The product portfolio asset SAP CRM which is serving thousands of customers is being transformed to a next software generation to strengthen the Digital Core of S/4HANA and to provide customers an innovative future software solution in the product area of Service Management and Offer To Cash.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our business unit is inventing in a new strategic solution for Service Management functionalities for SAP’s flagship product SAP S/4HANA (on premise and cloud). The new service solution will cover scenarios for customer services, asset centric services, commercial services and comprehensive end-to-end analytics capabilities. These features are based on functionalities of the existing SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) solution, and shall become available on premise and in the cloud.

We are searching for a Project Consultant to support the senior management and operations team providing project and administrative support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Project Consultant for the management and operations team you will be in charge of the following tasks:

  • Support the senior management and operations team with planned project activities and ad-hoc requests

  • Manage internal communication of development unit via social media channels such as SAPJam

  • Manage communication channels of large development projects

  • Support capacity planning of development teams and locations

  • Support existing location collaboration and invent new global location collaboration models

  • Supporting controlling, budget/expense and team capacity management including planning and forecasting

  • Taking responsibility for small project-related tasks

  • Arranging internal unit and team meetings from agenda management, content and speaker coordination

  • Support customer/partner meetings and Design Thinking workshops

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Familiar with SAPs internal organization, good network across the organization

  • Experience with SAP development-specific administrative and operational tasks and procedures (e.g. capacity management)

  • Proven ability to work face-to-face and virtually in an intercultural environment on all levels

  • Fluent in German and English - verbal and written

  • High level of flexibility, integrity and confidentiality

  • Very strong organizational and planning skills

  • Delivering high quality results in project management tasks

  • Great team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focused, self-starter

  • Min. 3 years of work experience in comparable roles
