HIGH LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a senior advisor to our prospects and customers with a broad understanding of our GRC solutions and their integration into the LoB Finance portfolio
Validate the as-is situation and goals of our prospects and customers and translate them into an appropriate business-driven to-be vision with a supporting IT-roadmap and design (processes, applications, systems).
Drive discussions on Governance, Risk and Compliance from a holistic, value driven perspective and operationalize into an executable transformation agenda.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP S/4HANA is the next generation platform for our customers and is an extremely strategic move for SAP.
The Regional Customer Advisory Finance team consists of CoE and Presales specialists that work across MEE to support the different local Market units with deep solution competence and business knowledge within the Finance & GRC area.
The person will be joining the MEE Regional Presales team as a Presales (Senior) Specialist primarily focusing on Office of the CFO with specialization in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). The candidate will also be expected to understand and explain the S/4HANA finance portfolio.
The person will act as a regional advisor and provide high quality sales support, guidance, enablement and work closely with the local SAP VAT teams to drive the execution of SAP S/4HANA sales.
Sharing experience and acting as a multiplier to enable the local VAT teams is also an essential part of the role.
The person is going to work regionally and will be travelling to key countries in MEE (Middle and Eastern Europe).
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Driving S/4HANA transformation discussions with C-Level engagement through the benefits of the SAP Finance and GRC portfolio.
Designing GRC strategies covering Access Governance, Three Lines of Defense, Cybersecurity & Data Protection as well as International Trade in consistency with overall S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
Demonstrating and walking through the solution in detail to articulate the values to be delivered by the solution in addressing the customer’s business process challenges as well as improvement potential.
Supporting local Market Unit VAT teams (could include also SAP partners or SAP Consulting) in RFx processes by providing solution expertise and by advising on the SAP S/4HANA transformation for the office of the CFO
Acting as a coach and enabler for the local teams on solution specifics as well as how to drive customer workshops. Share experience and best-practice tools from successful engagements.
Playing the role as Regional Point of Contact for the SAP S/4HANA Finance and GRC portfolio – working closely with local market presales managers and the Regional Center of Excellence in the MEE region.
Being a thought leader in own area of expertise (GRC). Proactive in sharing knowledge with the greater presales community through Solution Hubs or other enterprise social media where collaboration takes place.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Deep knowledge and understanding of the processes and frameworks (such as COSO) in Governance, Risk & Compliance
Confident, with excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
Inspired and highly motivated with the ability and willingness to think and act across functional or organizational siloes.
Proven ability to address stakeholders at all levels at a customer, translating solution capabilities to business impact
Self-learner, strong initiator and creative.
Strong team player
Ability to work in a virtual team covering many countries and cultures
Willing to travel on business assignment across MEE
Self-sufficient in managing own time and commitments to deliver on time with high quality
Bachelor (or equivalent) minimum requirement
4 years of relevant work experience in Presales, Consulting or in an equivalent customer facing role in areas appropriate to the job
Demonstrates successful engagements with customers on all levels (IT, functional, C-level)
Experience in sales and presales processes
