IT Services provides efficient IT solutions, technology and operational support to our Lines of Businesses (LoBs) with a strong focus on user-centricity. Our Deal Execution team is responsible for the End-to-End solution delivery supporting SAP’s core Sales Deal Execution business processes closely interacting with the respective LoB Global Customer Organization (GCO). Here we act as the Business’ trusted advisor and expert, driving together the simplification of business processes based on a user-centric approach. In a joint responsibility with the respective business and process teams, we identify strategic priorities, determine the portfolio and corresponding execution plans.

To strengthen the IT solution implementation knowledge and being ready for SAP’s next cutting edge SAP Hybris solutions and platforms in the sales process area, we are looking for an experienced IT Technology Senior Consultant who drives SAP’s internal Pricing Capability transformation across the process value chain Opportunity to Cash .

As part of the Run Simple Top 10 Initiatives – for example Simplified Selling, Simplified Cloud and S4/HANA, this inherits representing IT and working closely together with the Business and IT Product Owners for Global Pricing to define the next generation pricing capabilities , and its implementation roadmap.

The IT Technology Senior Consultant is the one person on a specialized team (or sub-team for large projects) who is driving the realization of the agreed prioritized backlog items, hence the delivery of user stories. The IT Technology Senior Consultant supports the IT Product Owner with the long-term product vision and product roadmap.

This requires profound knowledge on SAP’s pricing and material configuration capabilities , current stage and preferably future product roadmaps as well as strong collaboration and communication skills to interact with various business and IT stakeholder groups on a daily business.


Within our IT unit to enable best in class IT solutions for our SAP internal Sales Deal Execution processes you will:

  • be the one of the IT Technology Senior Consultants and driver for SAP’s internal Pricing transformation in the light of the SAP Run Simple Focus Projects

  • gain deep understanding of business pricing requirements, data structures and data models

  • support and define with the IT and Business Product Owners the short-term operational pricing demands, the mid-term transition steps and the long-term product vision and strategy to simplify SAP’s pricing capabilities in the Opportunity-to-Cash Process Value Chain

  • be part of an agile scrum team and support the team to technical decompose pricing user stories in the Process Backlog and hand them over to the Execution Backlog

  • assume responsibility for tasks and complete them end-to-end with the best quality and user experience in an agile project delivery model

  • be the pricing point of contact for internal Business and IT stakeholders

  • develop skill and competency on latest solutions and technologies relevant for internal sales and pricing processes

  • Degree, preferably Master in Computer Science or Business Information Management

  • Strong Business and IT Architectural Design Affinity for SAP internal Roadmap Definitions

  • Strong Product Modelling for Standard CRM and SD sales process

  • Strong Product Knowledge of SAP SD and Variant Configuration

  • Strong Product Knowledge of SAP CRM and IPC (Internet Pricing and Configurator)

  • Track Record in ERP/CRM pricing project implementations or solution/product management positions

  • Product Knowledge in Material Master, Master Data Distributions, SAP Convergent Charging etc. are a big plus

  • First experience in Cloud implementations preferred (Cloud2Cloud, Cloud2On-premise)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and German) to interact with business and technical stakeholders on a daily basis

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think in a complex and rapidly changing environment keeping the big picture always in mind


  • 5 years as a SAP ERP/CRM consultant or architect, focus pricing implementations

  • Proven record of ERP SD/CRM implementations within Quote to Cash process area

  • First records in Cloud implementations preferred (Cloud2Cloud, Cloud2On-premise)

  • Eager to learn new things while transitioning SAP into the cloud company

  • Communicating effectively to all business and IT levels

  • Ability to work well in an international, virtual and highly diverse team as well as independently and have a positive self-motivated can-do attitude

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably SCRUM connected with End User Centricity
