PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Development Services organization is changing the way how SAP builds and ships software and we want your help. We’re looking for an application engineer to work on our open source project CLA assistant which will soon become part of the Linux Foundation.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Work on the open source project CLA assistant and evaluate if the use case can be simplified by using GitHub Apps and potentially Probot as a framework.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Currently enrolled as Student at a university or a university of applied sciences

  • Preferred fields of study: computer science

  • Computer skills:

  • Experience with JavaScript/ Typescript, HTML and CSS

  • Experience with Angular, Node.JS and Mongo DB

  • Experience with GitHub APIs is beneficial

  • Language Skills:

  • Proficient in English and German (written and spoken)

  • Soft Skills:

  • Curiosity towards new technology and goal-oriented working style

  • Engagement in Open Source projects is beneficial

  • Others: Prior project experience is beneficial using the mentioned technology stack
