PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The mission of the GBO Business Operations Team – as part of the COO of GBO - is to support the Global Business Operations (GBO) Board Area to run efficiently and compliant.
The GBO Business Operations Team is responsible for:
Implementing a proper IT Governance model across different units and board areas
Ensuring compliance and transparency regarding Data Protection and Privacy, IT Security, SOX and ISO Certification, Works Council Co-Determination and more
Defining operational processes supported by the right tools and methods
Operationalizing our strategic objectives by providing suitable steering methods and overall transparency, including workforce and budget.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As intern in GBO Business Operations you will support our team in managing the following tasks:
Design, modelling, documentation and roll-out of processes related to our overall team responsibility.
Conduct analysis on status quo of all aspects the team is dealing with (e.g. compliance related topics) and develop ideas for corrective actions.
Preparation of training and rollout material to communicate operational processes, methods and tools to the different target groups.
Organization, moderation and follow up of meetings.
Support the team members in daily tasks and taking over responsibility after proper ramp-up
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student (f/m) at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Studies of business information or business engineering
Good skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; MS Word and MS Outlook
Good language skills in English and German are essential to deal with virtual and international Teams
First working experiences as intern or working student, as well as with SAP applications are beneficial
Team player with strong communication skills, pronounced quality awareness and preciseness and able to work independently.
General IT knowledge, interest in Project Management
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
