What you’ll do:

  • Position Title: Full Stack Developer Intern

  • Location: Vancouver, Canada

  • Expected start date to end date: September 4, 2018 – May 3, 2019

  • Join a cloud engineering team that delivers a collaboration system used by many companies you know and love! Learn how to develop a high traffic web and mobile solution while performing weekly zero-downtime deployments. Our vision is to continue evolving our collaboration capabilities while further automating deployments and introducing AI and machine learning.

  • You will also be expected to:

  • Drive, design, and develop and automate new features by working with Product Management, User Experience, and Software Testing to gather and discuss functional and technical requirements, estimate task time, and then quickly write high-quality code for complex features.

  • Work in an agile scrum development project model, with a daily team scrum meeting, and a weekly production deployment

  • Participate actively in requirement, design, and code reviews

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Working toward a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and one of Java, Objective-C, C , or .NET on Linux, Windows, iOS, Mac OS or Unix

  • Experience with at least one server-side web technology or scripting framework such as Ruby-on-Rails, PHP, Node.js, JavaScript/ASP.NET, Java servlets, Perl, or Python

  • Experience with SQL databases

  • Experience with source control systems such as git, Subversion, Perforce, etc

  • Understand TCP/IP (IPv4 or IPv6) networking (ports and addresses)

  • Additional assets:

  • Experience with automated deployment tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Travis CI

  • Experience with machine learning technology such as TensorFlow or Amazon Machine Learning
