ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of this position is to extend SAP’s market coverage in each segment for Software License and Services by generating new pipeline through:

  • executing Targeted Outbound Campaigns via digital prospecting, social media, email and phone

  • accelerating pipeline and increasing conversion by executing programmatic nurturing pipeline programs as well as recycled leads and opportunities

For targeted outbound campaigns, leads will be initially qualified according to the BANTS methodology. Extended deal qualification following the Franchise4Success Methodology. Once qualified, the opportunity will be passed over to the sales representative to drive to closure.

The Digital Demand Agent supports several Commercial Sales Executives or General Business Sales Executives and will be co-located in an eCenter with Commercial Sales. They will be active participants in territory and account planning to support the team and will be the future candidate pool for transition into CSE roles.

Campaign Execution & Lead Management

  • Develop self-demand generation campaign calendar in conjunction with CSEs and/or GBSEs based on the needs of the territory, specialization and industry. Review current pipeline trends to help define the campaign plans. Additionally, work with Commercial Sales & Marketing, General Business & Marketing, COEs on the development and execution of sales plays

  • Generate and qualify leads via digital prospecting, email campaigns, and calls

  • Align with sakes leadership and CSE/GBSE for most effective territory planning and execution, covering all routes to market

  • Generate and Qualify leads through proper means (cold calling, phone campaigns, email actions, etc.) as agreed with management

  • Pass qualified leads to sales for sales stage execution

  • Regularly review lead pipeline and progression. Proactively give qualitative and quantitative feedback to Marketing on campaigns using standard procedures and reports

Opportunity and Lead Nurturing

  • Support follow up on aging/stagnant leads and help to identify opportunities to re-energize back into an active sales cycles

  • Plan activities in close alignment with sales executives for most efficient opportunity acceleration

  • Drive ongoing nurturing of opportunities expected to enter active sales cycles in 6-12 months out as agreed with management

Data entry in CRM

  • Document all the campaign execution and lead/opportunity management activities using the adequate systems correctly, work together with manager/expert as necessary

Training & Enablement

  • Participate in activities to enhance demand generation and product/solution skills

  • Be active part of either classroom, e-learning, virtual classroom or mentor-lead activities

  • Complete and qualify on all Level 1 enablement activities within 3 months and Level 2 activities in 12 months.

WORK EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor or equivalent business experience

  • 1-2 years Demand Generation, Telemarketing or Inside Sales experience preferred

  • Language requirement: English both written and spoken

  • Experience in fast paced, high volume work environment
