Location: South San Francisco, CA

Purpose and Objective: SuccessFactors, Inc seeks an IT Technology Senior Consultant for our South San Francisco, CA office location within both the Delivery and Operation organizations, develops and provides systems, applications, products and services to optimize/automate business processes, improve work efficiency, and provide expert support in operations.

Expectations and Tasks: Revises and updates existing programs and provides required documentation. Facilitates the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. Analyzes company-wide operations, including performance and productivity data, error rates and their root causes. Proactively provides new lenses to examine the business, drive forecast accuracy, and rally cross-functional teams to act on insights. Designs, develops, implements, and maintains business solutions and recommendations to improve performance. Supports the Business Operations team and cross-functional partners with development of spend planning, reporting, and analytics for the broader cost portfolio. Achieves a significant dollar value of cost savings and cost avoidance through the application of process improvements. Determines cost of operations by collecting operational data and establishing standard costs across the organization. Optimizes operations by forecasting, planning and budgeting using driver based budget monitoring and assist in communication and key financial updates and business drivers to leadership. Analyzes and identifies incidents across regional distribution for reduction and balancing workloads. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing standards across organization. Analyzes security logs for compliance issues.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.

Work Experience: Experience must involve at least 4 years in the following: identifying opportunities with management teams to drive profitability and design specialized services for clients; identifying financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecast; and analyzing and monitoring big-data using Splunk software. Experience must also involve machine learning tools, including Moogsoft, to reduce operational noise, utilize resource across globe, and analyze cost of running business in the cloud.

Travel: 10% travel required, per business need.
