PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Identity Management team is part of SAP Technology Core Platform Development. The team is responsible for the development, support and maintenance of SAP Identity Management on-premise product that is part of SAP Security portfolio. SAP Identity Management helps companies to centrally manage their user accounts (identities) in a complex system landscape. This includes both SAP and non-SAP systems. The solution provides an authoritative, single source of user information and enables self-service management of user information and authorizations using workflow technology.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • You will be working in a cross-functional team of talented and motivated colleagues, following agile methodologies and the industry’s best practices focused on SAP Security products.

  • Analyze, evaluate and resolve customer issues related to the implementation and operation of SAP Identity Management java based solution

  • Communicate with customers in a considerate and professional manner, clearly and politely providing highly valued remote services and consulting

  • Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in customer incident processing

  • Organize and participate in the de-escalation of critical customer situations

  • Cooperate with other development or maintenance groups from different levels

  • Contribute on continuous improvement of software quality; design, implement and test improvements of software architecture and applications

  • Develop extensions of SAP Identity Management and take part in future product improvements

  • Follow SAP product standards applicable for your development

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or related field

  • Proficiency in Java

  • RDBMS

  • Experience with SQL

  • Knowledge in software security concepts and protocols

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work without close supervision over complex tasks and innovative projects

  • Creative thinking, willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies

  • Excellent team player, with strong communication skills, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven

  • Fluency in English

WORK EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years of relevant experience
