Forecast/Budget Activities for GCO Greater China

  • Lead the annual operational budget cycle. Analyze and bridge the gap between top-down and bottom-up assumptions. Participate in the interlock process with various global stakeholders to get mutual alignment on the budget. Support the strategic planning team in multiple year growth plan to be presented to the board for investment request.

  • Prepare monthly forecast on full P&L of GCO Greater China and highlight the potential risks in achieving the target.

Month End/Quarter End Closing and Management Reporting/Analysis

  • Support the month/quarter end closing to ensure the financial book for GCO GC are correctly stated.

  • Prepare the quarterly management reporting package, including year over year analytical review, variance analysis of actual vs. forecast and budget, SOX control, sales dimension report on software revenue stream, expense trending etc.

  • Provide what-if scenario analysis to support the management decision making.

Project Support

  • Represent Greater China in various taskforce of global financial projects. Provide the regional perspective and facilitate the project roll-out in the region.

System Support

  • Provide system support in master data maintenance to ensure the system readiness for the business need.

Apply relevant Controlling guidelines & policies; detect, raise and provide solutions for compliance issues and ensure overall awareness of compliance, statutory, and governance issue within the business


  • 10 or more years of functional experience; work experience in a foreign country is an advantage

  • Fluency in both written and verbal English and local language


  • Bachelor or similar degree in Accounting, business administration or economics related studies

  • Major in Finance & Controlling is preferred.
