PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Employee Central is organized into Clusters. This role belongs to the ERP Integration & Migration cluster. The cluster consists of SAP Integration (S/4, SAP Cloud, SAP ERP), People Central Hub, SuccessFactors Suite Integration, API, Imports, Total Workforce. People Central Hub is a recently launched solution to consolidate all people data in one central hub system to support integration of HR data, to provide online access to personal and organizational data and to run consolidated global HR reports.

The candidate will be a product expert for People Central Hub and/or other particular areas within this cluster, working closely together with the engineers, QAs, architects, and knowledge management of these areas.

The engineering team for this cluster is based in Rot, South San Francisco, Bangalore and Shanghai.

Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model. If you need to work flexibly from another location or at another time you can do so given your manager’s agreement.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

In collaboration with our team of integration product managers, knowledge managers and engineers, define and visualize scenarios for People Central Hub and other new integration scenarios. Benefit from the deep integration and technology expertise we have in our team and at the same time bring in new ideas

Drive the product definition process for your topics together with development and the various internal and external stakeholders

•Specify integration scenarios and product features in outstanding quality

•Connect and develop relationship with customers and partners for co-innovation, discuss business ideas, be attentive to their business challenges and needs

•Analyze the market and work closely with customers to understand their requirements

•Present results to customers, partners or SAP management

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

  • Ability to collaborate well in intercultural team environment and to drive tasks independently

  • Ability to act as a trusted and valued advisor in the development organization

  • Ability to lead and drive highly visible software projects

  • Ability and diligence to create high quality software specifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Fluent in English, German is highly valued

  • Passion for innovation and business acumen

  • University degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diploma, PhD) in a discipline related to either business or information technology

Preferred skills

  • International work experience much valued

  • Technical knowledge for ODATA APIs

  • Background in Integration, Core HR, or cloud technology is an asset but not required. We will help you build up the required functional knowledge

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • More than 2 years work experience in business software, either in product management, quality assurance, development, HR, or consulting

  • Experience with SAP or SuccessFactors software valued

  • Track record of independent and successful execution of project assignments

  • Focus on work experience needed for the job. Keep it to a minimum number of years to encourage all age groups and gender
