PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Finance team is looking for a Team Leader of Cash Collections team for Ariba and Quadrem Network to lead the members in completing assignment projects, activities and revenue growth related to a very strategic aspect of the Ariba Network - the Supplier Membership Fee Program. As a part of the role, the team leader will perform monitoring and collection of receivables including overdue receivables for selected group of customers assigned to him and to his team. Certain approvals responsibility as well as focus on process efficiency and IT improvements are as well an objective of this role.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Leads by example

  • Motivates the team members and supports their development

  • Shares information in the team meetings

  • Coordinates the activities of employees on the team

  • Ensures the priorities are set up correctly and the deadlines are met

  • Facilitates the success of the group

  • Proactively calls customers to reassure the time of invoice payment

  • Investigates billing discrepancies

  • Responds to external / internal queries through Dispute Cases

  • Identifies potential technical issues

  • Participates in projects and LOB conference calls

  • Manages a list of the Buyers and multi-orgs

  • Ensures a successful cooperation with other team leaders or other internal teams

  • All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum of 7 years of working experience in Finance (at least 3 years of working experience as a supervisor/team leader)

  • University degree

  • Spanish & English language required (level B2), English is the main intercompany language

  • Finance / Accounting and Collections knowledge

  • Experience with Ariba / Quadrem solutions

  • Proven communication skills with both internal and external customers

  • Experience with Collections and Billing management and ERP systems (ISP, BCP)

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and work with minimal direction

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)

  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills

  • Decision Making Abilities

  • Leadership skills in terms of design and control of everyone’s contribution

  • Be open to new ideas coming from team members

  • Define and state expectations and objectives with the team members. Ensure that all members understand the missions ahead.

  • Pro-active work ethic and strong initiative to achieve goals, inspiration & motivation of others

  • Be able to build mutual trust and respect in the team
