Location: San Ramon, CA

Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Sales Leadership Training Expert for our San Ramon, CA office location to serve as a faculty team member to create valuable and relevant content for sales leaders, managing directors and COO's at a global level.

Expectations and Tasks: Responsible for training early talents starting a sales career at SAP, and coaching Leaders and Managers. Responsible for teaching first line sales managers (FLSMs) how to coach their own employees; apply coaching to the SAP sales environment including performance sales coaching. Design and create valuable content for sales leadership audience, including Sales Methodology at SAP, teaching the SAP solution portfolio, and teaching the SAP Innovation Strategy Digital Transformation. Curriculum Design and Execution: conducting Training Needs Analysis at a global scale; deliver training content to a highly experienced and high standard audience and adapt according to the needs and feedback. Project Management for Enablement Programs: vendor selection and negotiation; internal SAP procurement process, including handling Purchase Orders. Handle German Workers Council approvals for the program. Employ knowledge of several cultures gained through first-hand experience. 10% travel required.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Linguistics, or a related field and 7 years of experience; or alternatively, a Master's degree and 5 years of experience.

Work Experience: Experience must involve two years of experience in the following: coaching leaders and managers; teaching first line sales managers how to coach their own employees; SAP solution portfolio and solution strategy; matching sales cycles to customer buying cycles; applying SAP solutions to customer IT landscapes; and conducting Training Needs Analysis at a global scale. 10% travel required.
