As a Software Engineer, you will be working with a team of Product Managers, UI developers and QA members to develop cutting edge, state-of-the-art SaaS applications. You will be working in an Agile SCRUM environment with development responsibilities that span across all layers of the application.
In addition, you will be able to clearly communicate your ideas and both openly and honestly provide and receive regular input from your peers. While teamwork is of the utmost in importance, you can also work independently with minimal supervision, and take the initiative to constantly keep yourself engaged.

You possess a strong focus on quality and attention to detail and possess the ability to quickly understand and solve unique and even undocumented programming problems. Naturally curious, you have a penchant for and drive to quickly learn and master skills in new technologies.
Job Duties include:
Design, develop and maintain software applications using state-of-the-art tools and technologies
Research, recommend and implement new technologies, tools and frameworks that can help enhance product capabilities, improve product quality and team productivity
Develop code modules across all tiers including Flex/HTML based front-end, Java middle tier and Oracle database back-end
Perform thorough unit testing of developed modules and develop automation tests that can help speed up future regression
Follow standard application development standards and best practices as well as those tailored to our internal development environment
Actively participate in contributing to the internal knowledgebase through Wikis, Forums and other collaboration mechanisms
Perform code reviews of peers to ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices
Works under immediate supervision
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
Typically reports to an engineering manager
3 years of overall software development experience, 1 years in Java (or 6 months experience and a Masters degree)
Very good understanding of Core Java concepts and principles
Good understanding of Java EE Web Application Technologies including JSP, Servlet, Struts, Spring and JDBC
Good understanding of RDBMS and familiar with HANA/Oracle or other major databases like SQL Server and DB2
Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably SCRUM
Familiar with tools like GIT, Subversion, Eclipse, FindBugs etc
Enthusiastic, reliable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent required; Master’s Degree preferred
