What you’ll do:
Position Title: iXp Intern – Java Developer for Integration team
Expected start date to end date: July 1st 2018 - December 31st 2018
You will work in an agile team and take part in projects throughout the SDLC from design to run. Most of these projects will be green field leveraging Java tools. Your knowledge of Java and other web technologies, such as REST, SOAP and SQL will be crucial to your success. You'll be working in a dynamic atmosphere. This is a job for someone who loves creating new software and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
How you will do it:
Improve the Quality Assurance processes and tools for the team.
Work with colleagues around the world on integrating critical data.
Identify and propose improvements to be included in the team’s backlog.
Work on internal customer-facing projects.
Influence how the team runs.
Become a valued member of the team – as the go-to person for your area of expertise.
About the team:
Come join a brand-new IT team focused on integrating and harmonizing data between business applications. The team is also responsible for developing applications utilizing the latest technology provided by SAP (SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Leonardo and more).
Who you are:
Pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
Java development skills.
Understanding of the concepts of Rest, SOAP, XML and JSON.
Some scripting experience, in languages such as Ruby, Python, Perl or Bash.
Adaptable to new, last minute, unplanned and difficult assignments.
Strong desire to continually improve.
