PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The S/4HANA SAP Cloud Platform Enablement unit is a group within the S/4HANA organization that works on innovative Cloud applications and services, built on SAP’s extension platform SAP Cloud Platform. At the same time, we also enable our partners and customers to innovate in the cloud and integrate seamlessly with our core products. For our Design team we are looking for a Communication / UI Design student to support our communication and software design tasks. Aside from the fact that SAP is a great employer, the SAP Innovation Center is a buzzing hub of international and very motivated folks with diverse professional backgrounds. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a Communication / UI Designer in our team, you will support various projects in the following areas:
Communication Design: Designing communication and marketing material such as (product) presentations and keynote slides for large conferences, information graphics, posters, flyers, stickers, etc. while applying SAP’s brand strategy
User Interface Design: Create appealing and intuitive UI / UX Design concepts for our business products together with UX designers and other visual designers, following a user-centered design process
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Communication Design, Graphics Design, User Interface Design
Competencies: outstanding visual design skills and a sense for aesthetics and simplicity, ability to comprehend and master complex (technical) contexts
Computer skills: Profound experience with design tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch
Language skills: Fluency in English and intermediate German
Soft skills: Good communication skills in an international and interdisciplinary environment
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, a design portfolio (online or PDF), school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
