SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidations) Consultant will be a member of our Solution Delivery Center (SDC) organization. The SAP Solution Delivery Centre (SDC) is responsible for driving customer success as ONE SAP by maximizing the adoption of SAP products across industries with accelerated ‘time-to-value', leveraging global scale and expertise through integrated right shore delivery, focusing on remote, factory services and outcome-based solutions that utilize robust processes and practices. Our team drives value and continuous improvement for our customers using operationally sound processes and basic quality system fundamentals. Providing our consultant’s training, certification, and skill expansion opportunities are key priorities our organization’s success and long-term employee career growth within the SDC.
We are growing a Pittsburgh based near-shore center to expand our delivery capabilities within the North American region. Our desire is to provide SAP’s customers access to the best global network of consultants with expertise in SAP’s latest technologies. The Pittsburgh near shore center will be a sophisticated Service & Knowledge organization providing unique capabilities to SAP’s customers in North America and around the globe.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As the SAP BPC Consultant, you will:
Acts as a Senior Trusted Advisor to the customer, covering the entire company of a big/complex, multinational Consolidation Processes end-to-end
Define the best Financial Planning and / or Consolidation strategy for customers
Support consulting and license presales opportunities. Architect solution/implementation approach (Requirements, Scope, Estimation)
Defines the strategic, conceptual and technical boundaries for the design of the Planning and / or Consolidation processes, supporting the accounting principles and localizations required by the customer, with a focus on high efficiency, stability and performance.
Understands the as-is situation and goals of a customer holistically, can translate it into an adequate roadmap design (processes, applications, systems, S4HANA new functionality, new implementation, migration and conversion) as well as the appropriate operating concept based on SAP’s offerings, with a clear focus on Customer Success and S4HANA Innovations.
Develops and executes Innovation Roadmaps for customers, designs business processes with the customer and feeds them into the IT implementation. Helps customers to implement a state-of-the-art Innovation Roadmap.
Be actively involved in the definition, preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of BPC Consolidation implementation projects
Act as a trusted adviser to the customer on technical matters
Manage customer expectations and avoid any escalations
Able to set up development guidelines and methodologies
Support pre-sales activities
Work on projects executed across geographies and cultures
Work closely together with others and share expertise to ensure product success
Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering Skills
Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team
Must be able to simultaneously help multiple customers, work extended hours, and travel to customer locations as required
A minimum of three years of SAP consulting experience
Recent graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant STEM field including: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant degree
Must be able to work as a team player, yet can work independently
Analytical, results-driven and have a solution oriented approach
Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening
Must be open to travel
At least 4 years of experience in:
Proficient in BPC System Administration and System Performance Tuning
Product issue troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
Proficient in SAP BW Modeling, SAP BW BEx Query
Experience working with Analysis for Office
NetWeaver background with HANA expertise and knowledge of BW/4HANA a plus

SEM Business Consolidation System - BCS
Disclosure Management – DM
Certifications in BPC are a must
Preferably experience with software solutions for the following topics: ◦BPC Planning

Strategy Management – SSM
Commercial Project Management – CPM
Other Enterprise Performance Management – EPM Solutions
Knowledge in the different Planning and Consolidation scenarios while deploying on cloud and on premise

SAP Activate / SAP Solution Manager 7.2

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelors or Master’s degree in: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or similar degree.
5 years previous experience working across a range of SAP implementations, and Analytics projects
Experience of working in large landscapes/environments/customers
