PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Work on customer facing project implementations in Retail with the Consumer Practice at SAP Near Shore Center (NSC) with a focus on POSDM/CAR (Customer Activity Repository)

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Should have very good understanding and preferably working knowledge in the core Retail functionalities and proven expertise of multiple sub-modules

  • Sales Audit, Tasks, Profiles, POSDM Workbench, PIPE, TLOGs, HANA VDM models

  • Should have a good understanding of Retail Business Processes with a focus on Store Operations

  • Should be good with documentation and general Office tools

  • Should have smooth communication suitable for customer facing roles

  • Should be able to articulate business requirements and propose solutions

  • Should be comfortable with planning and tracking schedules/ resources and risks in an implementation

  • Should be comfortable with customer facing roles, leading and driving discussions with customer business heads

  • Should be willing to travel 40-75% of the time.

  • Lead and guide customers on various SAP Solutions in POSDM space

  • Being a part of project implementations in both classical and Agile modes

  • Coordinating / Managing onsite / remote teams for deliverables

  • Lead pre-sales, customer demos, issue resolution, Customer PoCs

  • EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum educational requirement – Graduation from a reputed institute

  • MBA from reputed institutes preferred, although not mandatory

  • SAP Certification in SAP Retail/at least one core SAP module preferred

  • Expertise in SAP POSDM mandatory

  • Expertise in SAP CAR strongly preferred, but not mandatory

  • Expertise in one of the core ERP modules (MM or more importantly SD) would be highly preferred

  • Knowledge on Store Connectivity (POS Inbound and Outbound), SAP In Store MIM would be an added advantage

  • Knowledge on SAP HANA platform would be highly preferred

Experience and Other Requirements

  • Should have 4 to 6 years of implementation experience of SAP Solutions, out of which at least 3-4 years should be with SAP Retail as a core Industry/solution

  • At least 2 end-to-end implementation experiences in SAP POSDM Customer facing functional implementations.

  • Should be articulate and convincing#SAPDBS
