Key Responsibilities

1) Identify Opportunities and grow Premium Engagement in Innovations Services

2) Define and deliver innovation strategy for Premium Engagement customers (MaxAttention or ActiveEmbedded)

3) Contribute to SAP Digital Business Services (DBS) strategic topics

4) Manage long-term engagements: Premium Engagement Positioning & Set-up & Delivery

Key Tasks

1) Contribute to DBS Strategic topics

· Manage relationship with key customers (SCP/PSLE) beyond Premium Engagement agreement

· Drive IT-Planning & Strategy sessions such as S/4 HANA & Leonardo roadmap with customers together with IT& Business Solution Architects

· Support / Drives development of master plans for IT Landscape and IT-Transformation together with IT-Architects

· Define strategy to develop customer towards the level of Customer Advance COE

· Develop a “master plan” with customer for business process innovation and business continuity according to SAP Best Practices

· Manage maintenance at risk: develop plan to make utilization of SAP licenses with the account team

· Liaise with different LOB’s

· Ensure consistent Premium Engagement Strategy and Delivery for Engagements within the same industries

o Review Premium Engagement strategy and plans on request

o Provide functional advisory for Premium Engagement within the industry

o Identify opportunity for positioning of New MaxAttention / ActiveEmbedded contract as SAP unique service offering

2) Presales back-office for Premium Engagement Innovation Services:

· Architect and define the engagement model with the customer based on a profound understanding of the customer situation including core business processes, system landscape, organizational structure, support organization, and company goals as well as industry context.

· Work closely with account teams to define and position collaboration engagements with SAP DBS

· Define strategy for positioning the engagement with the account team

· Define customer-tailored value proposition and benefit case

· Define and agree with customer on Engagement Roadmap including charter, innovation potential, focus areas and high level delivery plan

· Promote, moderate, enable teams and drive Innovation Services in Premium Engagement France

· Responsible for Value Proposal content for Innovation Services : Leonardo Services & Design Thinking

· Contribute to Premium Engagement Sales booking target

· Identify opportunities

· Creating and developing networks with our customers (via event, network, USF…)

4) Value Proposition and Benefit Case

· Define value proposition and benefit case for the customer to justify investments in

o improving business processes execution

o adopting SAP innovations

o optimizing operations of SAP solutions

o improving IT service delivery

· Develop a comprehensive roadmap from an operational and strategic perspective and achieve buy in from key customer stakeholders (C level) in IT and Business by executing a the value approach

7) Training and Mentoring Tasks

· Provide guidance to the TQMs within his/her engagement or in the team on topic Innovation & innovation services

· Provide guidance for communication to customer senior management, such as for quarterly meetings, communication of status and action plan for top Issue resolution and service delivery

· Review and participate when needed in presentations given to the customer senior management

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Strong aptitude for adopting new innovations and ability to understand them in a bigger business context.

  • Fluency in English, any other language an asset. Fluency in the language of local markets desirable. This includes very good skills in written and verbal communication.

  • Good knowledge of SAP innovative products and the related software architectures and will to extend and update regularly.

  • Proven skills in project management and negotiation skills.

  • Strong alignment and collaboration skills to work within virtual, multi-cultural, heterogeneous and remote teams.

  • Creative approach to problem solving while working on a tight schedule and budget.

  • Interest in working effectively and efficiently in a small but powerful team, while developing close working relationships with teams outside and inside SAP.

  • Knowledge of Design Thinking methodology and SAP Innovations are highly desirable.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

· Master’s degree required

· Backgrounds in project management with focus on flexible, strategic thinking, structured project management skills, and demonstrated ability to work with customer’s senior-level management

· Ability to communicate to C-Level (internal SAP & customer)

· Fluent in English

  • 3-7 years of business development experience in enterprise software solution sales preferred.

  • 2-5 years of SAP work experience. Good understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition.

  • Experience in strategic planning and / or evaluating new business development opportunities. Co-innovation with customers / partners highly desirable.

  • Record of building strong network of customer / partner relationships.

  • Ability to visualize data and present core insights that SAP Innovations can support in a clear and compelling way.

  • Strong desire to overcome obstacles and make your work benefit SAP's customers.

  • Collaboration with R&D teams, Research Institutes, Universities is desirable.

  • Track record of publishing innovation related topics on business related social media.
