Location: Palo Alto, CA
Purpose and Objective: SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location to be responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.
Expectations and Tasks: Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Demonstrate full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrate a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Work closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Demonstrate proficient overall product knowledge and share domain expertise within team. Responsible for designing, developing and testing software applications using various programming languages such as Java ,Java Script, Node.js. Responsible for managing application persistence using various databases such as HANA, MongoDB, Sybase IQ. Work with cross functional team proving technical guidance and inputs for product management and design. Participate in code review process and provide feedback for other team members. 10% travel required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 1 year or experience; or alternatively, a Master's degree and 0 years of experience.
Travel: 10% travel required.
