Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant for our Palo Alto, California office location, and various client sites nationwide, to provide application and process specific expert consulting for one or several application area (s) process areas: creation of business blueprint, implementation based on a blue print, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support.

Expectations and Tasks: Support in escalated projects. Provide performance of feasibility studies and solution reviews. Support of pre-sales activities (license and consulting). Identify and apply Integrated Service Delivery options. Take over responsibility from time to time as a (sub) project team lead. Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and support respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Provide detailed planning of process implementation and define detailed blueprint for development requirements. Apply industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP, OnPremise and cloud-based). Develop and Assure quality of process models. Demonstrate expert knowledge of modeling standards and tools. Drive deployment of SAP Model Companies for specific area of business.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and seven years of experience is required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and five years of experience.

Work Experience: Experience must involve at least five years of experience in the following: direct procurement strategies, provide sourcing, category management, and vendor performance management; client focused services delivery within the scope of a Statement of Work (SOW); working with customers' organizational process and structure and influence the opinions and decisions of key business stakeholders; Joint Application Design & Requirements Sessions; authoring functional and technical specification design documentation; Project Management; Business Reporting and Data Analysis (e.g. Ariba Analysis); Procure-to-Pay (e.g. Ariba Buying); Contract Management & Compliance (e.g. Ariba Contracts Management & Ariba Contract Compliance); Sourcing Project and Event Management (e.g. Ariba Sourcing); Vendor Onboarding, Performance & Risk Management (e.g. Ariba Supplier and Performance Management; Ariba Supplier Risk); and Ariba Supplier Network.

Travel: 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
