PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP's Digital HR & Transformation team supports SAP’s strategy by enhancing our internal HR thought leadership in the market. Additionally, the team works to match key SAP HR experts with strategic customer engagements to accelerate the sale and demand of the SAP HCM Product.
Our Transformation team is looking for a digital-savvy, Communications Intern to join our team. Our ideal intern will possess a knowledge of building a story around team metrics and external events for internal communications, the digital marketing and social media landscape (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc…) and should be comfortable contributing to our editorial calendar, creating content, monitoring and responding on our social platforms on behalf of the team, scheduling and posting to our social platforms, assisting in blog creation and working with our various other PR and Social Media teams to develop aligned communications.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As part of the Digital HR & Transformation team, the Communications Intern will be responsible for:
Develop and maintain annual strategy for internal communications
Own communication design and content creation for all team comms
Social Media Strategy:
Develop both short and long term social media marketing strategy utilizing various social media platforms, in partnership with other social media teams at SAP
Measure and analyze effectiveness of various social media channels and adjust strategy as needed
Perform research on popular social media trends
Assist team in their personal social media strategies
Social Media Marketing:
Create compelling content for all social media and digital marketing channels on behalf of the team and HR experts
Manage, monitor and post to various social media channels on an ongoing basis, respond to questions/comments
Assist team in editorial planning with HCM teams
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Media, Human Resources or a related field.
Digital and Social marketing background
Strong interpersonal communication skills; influencing skills, ability to build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders, partners, and colleagues
Excellent analytics and technology skills
Strong detail orientation
Strong written communication skills
Comfortable in fast-paced, multi-task environments
High tolerance for ambiguity and change
Must be fluent in English
Ideally 1-2 years of professional experience
Currently enrolled or current graduate of university
Must be proficient in Social Media channels (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIN, Facebook, YoutTube, etc), and in general be very computer savvy
