Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Global Solution Architect at our Newtown Square, Pennsylvania office location (telecommuting permissible) to be accountable for the business, market and revenue success of SAP Hybris Custom Development solutions (CDP, FBS, RCS) ensuring successful market adoption and deployment.
Expectations and Tasks: Establish and maintain relationships with customers / prospects and partners. Gain market and customer insight: Prepare conclusion on growth opportunities for SAP by synthesizing technology and industry trends, market research data and customer requirements. Develop and drive creation of Solution Strategies, Solution Definitions, proposals and roadmaps for customers. Build business cases for Focused Business Solutions (FBS) and Repeatable Custom Solutions (RCS) within SAP Custom Development organization. Propose, demonstrate and evangelize these solutions with SAP Customers and partners. Field and partner enablement: Drive solution launch, rollout and field/ partner enablement. Review story boards for demos of solutions. Train and educate key multipliers (SAP internal and external). Ensure delivery of roll out materials e.g. collaterals, references, success stories. Actively participate in customer communities. Support strategic deals, customers and partners. 50% travel required. Telecommuting permissible.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 6 years of experience; or alternatively, a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.
Work Experience: Experience must include 4 years of experience involving the following: Hybris Commerce and Marketing for B2B and B2C scenarios; developing and driving the creation of Solution Strategies, Solution Definitions, proposals and roadmaps for customers; producing High Level Design and Solution Architecture documents; positioning SAP's solution experience including the analysis, authoring and estimation of a Hybris Commerce solution; proposing, demonstrating and evangelizing these solutions with SAP Customers and partners; training and educating key multipliers (internal and external); and ensuring the delivery of roll out materials e.g. collaterals, references, and success stories. 50% travel required.
