Location: Newtown Square, PA
Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Demo Solutions Expert for our Newtown Square, PA office location to provide an expert understanding of technical specifications and contribute to the demo content delivery process.
Expectations and Tasks: Execute on assigned tasks and demo projects such as Standard Content projects, Demo build requests. Tasks could include; demo design, coding, testing, documentation and support. Actively participate in calls with customers (Solution Advisors/Demo Architects) to understand the requirements and related business processes. Exhibit agility and Flexibility to meet business needs. Communicate relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback within the team. Coach and mentor junior members of the team. Implement Best Practices in responsibility area. Demonstrate innovative approaches to increase own and team productivity. Develop Collaborative work relationships. Support hiring activities by participating in the interview process. Single Point of Accountability for the delivery of High quality Sales demo content. Support Portfolio Management through joint demo planning and development. Work collaboratively with project team members to ensure the timely delivery of demo scenarios according to quality and usability standards. Participate in demo development planning for respective functional area (e.g. CRM, SCM, ERP, Technology). Participate in demo system release planning sessions and help to identify / prioritize components. Support the roll-out of new product information into demonstration scenarios. Work with appropriate organizations, such as Industry Business Units and Application Solution Management to ensure field requirements are prioritized during the business planning process. Collaborate with other team members regarding acquisitions and complimentary partner solutions to ensure the inclusion of high value solutions to increase the value of SAP's message. Participate in Global Community of Practices to share best practices, new demo content and strategies. Proactively incorporate newly acquired solutions into the overall SAP demo offerings. Research and understand SAP competition and how they demo their solutions. Design demo assets that highlight SAP's competitive differentiators. Review and complete the final Demo Bill of materials for each demo project. Responsible for the design, initial set-up, concept and implementation of SAP Solutions and for building up a reliable, scalable, robust and fully integrated Demo Landscape Infrastructure as basis for all demo build activities. Establish close collaboration and work with IT and other stakeholders to coordinate technical system set up and act as single point of contact. Responsible for system administration and system lifecycle management (e.g. upgrades) She/he manages system performance and quality, and safeguards the sustainability of the demo environments. Oversees overall process and technical restrictions to ensure that new demo scenarios requests are handled efficiently and in high quality. Market Surveillance for new Technologies / Roll in of new trends to the existing demo Infrastructure (In memory, Mobile, Virtual/Cloud technologies etc.). Lead virtual team members around execution. 10% travel required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 7 years of experience; or alternatively, a Master's degree and 5 years of experience.
Travel: 10% travel required.
