We are looking for energetic co-op students to strengthen our Security team in a work environment that offers an exciting mix of opportunities, a collaborative and dynamic team of technology professionals, and the opportunity to work with leading Security technologies. As a member of the security operation team, your main role is to help with security operation efforts, supporting existing security tools and be part of our security monitoring and log analysis, provide sound advice in terms of related matters. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.

  • Assist with vulnerability assessments.

  • Assist with weekly SOC tasks & duties to possibly include: reporting, log analysis, incident response, threat hunting.

Skills:

  • Understanding of general cyber-security concepts.

  • Understanding and knowledge of TCP/IP Networking.

  • Understanding and/or experience working with Linux systems

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Basic experience with scripting and programming.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous study in related the Computer Science, Physics or IT fields and a passion for learning and developing Cyber Security Practitioner skills

  • Plan to pursue a career in Computer Science/Cyber Security Field
