Location: Miami, Florida
Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Sales Support Senior Specialist for our Miami, Florida office location to act as delegate for sales quotations approvals. Review business cases and facilitate regional pre-approval in case of any extraordinary requests.
Expectations and Tasks: Serve as the first point of contact for escalations to Upper Management. Liaise with Finance, Market Unit Leadership, Regional Heads, Operations and Finance leaders from supporting areas such as Financing, Cash Collections, O2I and R2R to ensure close alignment, tight collaboration and resolution of regional or local issues. Enable strong partnership with LAC executives, regional functions (HR, Communications, D&I, Compliance Office, Legal, etc.) and Field Finance. Coaching, deal structuring and supporting of various regional and local sales leaders in the preparation of pre-approval documents. Support the execution of the initiatives under the Upper Management's sponsorship. Assist in strategic and operational matters including ad hoc analysis, preparation of documents for management team, presentations for internal meetings and reviews, customer/ partner briefings for external meetings, specific content to support the executive visits from Board members, etc. Collaborate regarding deal management and regional initiatives. Develop close alignment with Finance Heads to ensure transparency on P&L, proper accounting/monitoring of expenses, accurate planning and target attainment. Participation in weekly regional forecast calls and top deal cadence calls. Participation in the budget process across all Market Units. Facilitating regional approval of pre-approvals and license deal quotations. Coaching of sales teams on local, regional and global management expectations for complex and extraordinary deal contract terms & conditions.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and six (6) years of experience required. Employer will accept Master's degree and four (4) years of experience. Will accept pre-Bachelor's degree experience.
Work Experience: Experience must include four years of experience with the following: IT Financial planning and analysis; controlling experience in financial planning and analysis; project management; controlling experience in sales and GTM processes; revenue and bookings planning and analysis; Finance, Controlling and Commercial Finance processes; SAP processes including Accounting, Controlling, Planning, Consolidation & Reporting; SAP Systems and Applications including SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (CRM, SCM, PLM), SAP Business Information Warehouse, SAP R/3 FI/CO, SAP ERP, SAP Business Intelligence, Information Design @ Finance, Think-Cell, Global Cloud Pipeline, Solutions & Industries Demand Generation Explorer, ADRM Operational Report, Pipeline Conversion Tool, Demand Management Dashboard (DMD), Forecast Explorer (OnPremise & Cloud); Forecasting and Budgeting; and Compliance & Risk knowledge experience to ensure conformity to internal and external policies and standards, complying with relevant laws, restrictions and regulations.
Travel: 10% travel required, per business need.
