The SAP unit, Managed Service Delivery Center Mexico” successfully supports local and global customers from various industries in maintenance, daily operation and ongoing functional support of their SAP business applications.

Our Delivery Center is planning to enhance its capacities for professional delivery management of on-premise, cloud or hybrid customer engagements and is offering the position for a “(Senior) Business Consultant (HCM / SFSF) for Operations Services”.

We deliver for AMS Portfolio of Applications and Technology Services Business unit under P&I - Enterprise Cloud Services. We are an organization engaged in significant growth, driven by serving our customers best.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Business Consultant, you work in small, combined teams of Consulting experts and partner companies on customer solutions during operations:

Your tasks will be:

  • Analyzing and resolution of application incidents

  • Performing of changes in alignment with business processes & solution architecture

  • Identify potential improvements

  • Optimize HR business processes and solution architecture and help customers to adopt Best Practices

  • Drive innovation by identifying optimization opportunities in “Human Resources”

  • Work on smaller projects during operations phase

  • Lead projects involving multiple teams, including people from different regions and cultures

  • Work closely with AMS Solution Center team to develop and drive business opportunities for SAP

  • Manage customer challenges and escalations in a proactive and structured manner

  • Support the development of new services and methodologies to drive digital business transformation

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Degree in sciences (computer, natural, technical) or equivalent work experience

  • Background in key methodologies for efficient deployment and operation of SAP applications

  • Knowledge in the following areas: HR Core, HR Business Processes, HR IT Architecture

  • Profound experience of the implementation of the SuccessFactors product portfolio in at least one of the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Employee Central (EC)

  • EC Payroll

  • Career Side Builder / Recruiting Marketing / Onboarding

  • Performance & Goals

  • Compensation / Variable Pay

  • Succession & Development

  • Solution Architecture

  • Technology & Integration

  • Additional knowledge of one or more HCM core modules is highly appreciated Required skills

  • Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote)

  • Excellent presentation, organizational and planning skills

  • Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients.

  • Creative individual with strong networking and customer relationship management capabilities

  • Strong analytical skills, results-oriented and effectiveness in problem-solving

  • Ability and willingness to actively position new services and solutions using industry network

  • Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and Spanish

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, e.g. HR core projects, with a reputed consulting company, system integrator or corporate HR department

  • Awareness of global cultural differences; previous work experience in a multi-national environment preferred

  • Experience in ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) or other IT Service Management Standard Models
