Mission Control Centre - Intern Associate

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Mission Control Centre (MCC) is looking for an energetic and capable intern who will assist with engagement support services across a range of SAP product domains and customer engagements. The key initiatives of the MCC involve:

  • Support services for onsite service delivery and engagement support teams.

  • Strategic development of customer relationships

  • Delivery of business value to SAP customers.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Collaborating with support advisors and product consultants to support the resolution of Premium Engagement customer requests and incidents.

  • CRM data cleansing and consolidation of information across various sources.

  • Liaising and coordinating with offshore global support teams to enable the delivery of incident resolutions.

  • Continuous process improvements for the management and collation of customer requests and internal message handling.

  • Continuous development and management of in-house, real-time data feed dashboards for the MCC Room.

  • Other tasks and projects as directed.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Studying towards a Bachelor or equivalent, ideally majoring in Information Technology/Computer Science

  • Solid familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • General knowledge of the project lifecycle and organisational IT landscapes.

  • A proven capability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.

  • Ability to take ownership and be adaptable.

  • Strong analytical competencies and a capacity to communicate clearly – verbal and written.

Student Intern Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be currently enrolled in a tertiary institution or post-graduate degree

  • Must NOT have a previous or ongoing full-time work experience

  • Must be able to commit at least 6 months of internship duration

  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 22 hours per week

  • Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident
