Global EWFC - Senior Consultant

The External Workforce Center (EWFC) was established to support managers in the positive and compliant engagement of the external workforce population within SAP. This includes implementing and administering guidelines, policies, and processes for managers which help them engage with external workers in their daily operations.

The successful candidate will have the creative freedom to come up with new ideas and design content and media that will reach global and executive audiences.

The External Workforce Center (EWFC) Senior Consultants focuses on consultation within the team, colleagues from other departments, and other stakeholders as needed. They will also provide support for managers and vendors, as well as partner with EWFC stakeholders to promote alignment and to support processes and projects driven by the EWFC. Also, will support and may lead global/multi-country projects.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Build strong partner relationship:

  • Building relationships to facilitate the support for processes that the team supports. Becoming a "partner" and displaying the benefit of a combined working relationship. Working with vendors and building a relationship with them to ensure we have identified the most efficient and effective process with that vendor.

  • Work with other team members to share knowledge on topics to ensure cross-training and scalability for all process work. Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met. Keeps up to date with changes in the organization.

  • Coordinates and supervise the daily activities of the team

  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion

Ensures appropriate External Worker Process Execution:

  • Ensure information flow with all departments and functions in SAP, which are involved in External Worker processes execution. Work with both internal and external contacts to assist in process completion or escalation, such as GPO and 3rd Party vendors. Seeks feedback from customers to identify opportunities for improvement. Translates creative ideas into plans and action.

Drive for Improvement & Innovation :

  • Project management responsibilities to support the migration of new processes and technology or process enhancements.

  • Participates in RFPs, QBRs, and acts as a liaison between the External Workforce Center and relevant teams on Supplier related topics to drive alignment and to support processes.

  • Understands scope of process work and the SLAs for each service and is responsible for identifying process enhancement opportunities or gaps, and drives the implementation of process changes to ensure processes are efficient. Is often expert in multiple areas of service delivery work. Because the position will involve handling confidential data it will be required that the EWFC Team Lead follow guidelines and policies in managing confidential data.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience, Master’s student is a plus

  • Bi-lingual skills as needed
