Job Overview:

Concur is looking for a Security & Technology Consultant (STC) to support our SaaS sales efforts in the UK. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Able to work with the wider sales team to identify and resolve technical and security related objections

  • Conversant in national data protection laws and 3rd party audits e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 1, PCI-DSS etc.

  • Knowledgeable of ERP integrations

  • Knowledgeable of Web Services

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in discovery sessions with prospective customers to gather and understand their functional and technical requirements.

  • Conduct technical presentations of Concur’s architecture, security, hosting operations and administrative tools to prospective customers; reinforce key selling messages and ensure delivery of messages to appropriate decision makers.

  • Answer technical questions and overcome objections raised by prospective customers

  • Provide detailed technical responses for Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI).

  • Interface between Sales and Consulting to ensure that expectations are correctly set during the presales process

  • Maintain current knowledge of competitor information and understand Concur’s solution through regular interaction with Business Development, Product Marketing, Development and Hosting Operations; maintain technical knowledge of current industry trends and developments.

  • May train and/or provide guidance to other Concur employees.

  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.

Position Requirements:

Education, Experience & Training required:

  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.

  • 3 years’ experience in SaaS, business application software and/or financials (Travel & Expense, Payables, General Accounting, Project Accounting).

  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, VBScript etc.

  • A CISSP certification is helpful.

  • Ability to pass a background check.
