SAP NS2 Senior Contract Manager – Herndon, VA 20171

Purpose of the Position:

Draft, negotiate and review multiple agreements and agreement types (ex. Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material, Labor Hour) on behalf of SAP NS2 with our commercial, federal and state & local customers and resellers, and prime contractors. This is a cradle to grave contract management position for a professional (7 plus years’ experience). Experience with contracting for Cloud Services is required. All responsibilities will be conducted with senior management oversight.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with field Sales Representatives and Consulting Services delivery teams to review, negotiate and draft software license and service agreements, including enterprise on-premise licenses, managed services, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and cloud hosting, consulting, NDA, subcontracts, modifications, teaming agreements and other certifications and non-standard commercial and government requirements of various types. Reviews RFPs and assists in developing proposal responses to ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Identify and address commercial, financial, legal and operational issues on complex matters and seek advice from management and other company personnel.

  • Significant knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Acquisition Regulations, and its supplements

  • Understanding of information security and privacy issues.

  • Coordinate with Procurement department to assist with drafting third party consulting agreements.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers and collaborate and build strong relationships.

  • Ability to apply corporate legal and Company policies related to agreements to mitigate company risk specifically with respect to selling Software and Services to commercial and public sector customers.

  • Ensures that all documents conform to Company policies and applicable laws and government regulations.

  • Monitor contracts for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies and initiate corrective action as required.

  • Must be capable of working independently while managing competing priorities and keeping management fully informed.

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills are required.

Education:

A four year degree in an applicable discipline is required, an MBA or law degree is preferable.

Travel:

Ability to travel within 150 mile radius of primary office location and other U.S. sites, occasionally.
