KEY AREAS OF RESPSONSIBILITY AND TASKS:

The Senior Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include delivering leadership to the company with a hands-on approach to all commercial aspects to drive the company forward to its next growth phase as described below:

  • Tracks, monitors and analyses of sales activity and performance to ensure profitability and ROI, ultimately integrating robust commercial processes across all relevant departments

  • Focused on taking ownership of the customer and customer interface with product or service offering, ensuring that all functions of the organisation are aligned to meet PL’s strategic commercial objectives

  • The role will be closely linked to the SAP EMEA North leadership team, in drafting, implementing and evaluating cross-functional decisions that will enable the region to achieve long-term business objectives

WORK EXPERIENCE:

LEADERSHIP

Handle special assignments, do in-depth analysis, follow up on various files and work closely in concert with all members of the senior management team. Develop long-term plans and budgets for the department and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance. Ensure systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the department.

Commercial Excellence

Direct and lead the commercial activities of PL, drive revenues on a weekly, monthly and annual basis and manage sales pipeline to ensure accurate and adequate lead inflow to reach targeted sales objectives.

Strategic Planning

Develop strategic direction and plans for the company with regard to all commercial functions including sales, marketing, business development and customer support/customer experience. Establish medium/long-term strategies for revenue growth and perceived and develop strategic deals and monitor the entire selling cycle.

E DUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Experienced in sales of SAP’s analytics solutions and cloud solutions to the discrete manufacturing industry

  • Proven track record leading a VAT team of presales, IVE and solution sales to help electric vehicle start-ups and auto-OEMs achieve digital transformation by leveraging SAP’s software and service

  • Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market

  • Experienced analysing electric vehicle markets, proposing sales and marketing strategies to the leadership team and building customer references that uses SAP’s total solution

  • Supervised and managed multiple projects at the same time and to embrace the ambiguity

  • Represented the commercial function at the senior leadership committee, as well as being an active contributor

  • Experienced at managing diverse and geographically remote teams

  • Worked in a lead role of a team-selling environment

  • Business level English: Fluent

  • Educated to a Bachelor of Science level
