PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The SAP Knowledge & Education team works on providing the best end-to-end knowledge experience for continuous learning and innovation. Based on innovative User Assistance and Education Technology like the leading cloud learning platforms openSAP and SAP Learning Hub, we offer a highly resourceful learning landscape. We build state-of-the-art training content to enable IT professionals, developers, end-users, entrepreneurs and decisions makers. Furthermore, the team works together with universities and the next generation professionals by running the SAP Next-Gen initiative and the SAP Training and Development Institute. With these programs, we want to inspire academia and SAP customers to innovate and to set them up for a successful digital future.We are currently looking for a Regional Business Portfolio Manager for EMEA for our Solution Management and Business Development team to ensure full support on portfolio topics for the EMEA region. The individual is reporting directly to the Head of Solution Management & Business Development. He or she must be an excellent communicator, with a strong knowledge of the SAP Education curriculum, ideally with a background in delivering SAP courses as an instructor. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model. If you need to work flexibly from another location or at another time you can do so given your manager’s agreement.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Roll in and Roll out of all SAP Education Products and services
Accountable for the effective communication of Portfolio developments and collecting Portfolio requirements across the EMEA Market Units around Software, Education Consulting Services and Training. Present these to the Global Portfolio production team and assure its execution.
represent K&E team in regional management and leadership meetings. between the K&E team and Education (work with product owners and regional heads to combine their expertise) and Act as the informal and formal communication channel
Maintain good communications with other regions to ensure that EMEA requirements are aligned and best practices maintained
Responsible for creating and maintaining Pricing guidelines as well as communicating changes around Software and Education Consulting Services pricing/determining pricing for new Education Consulting Services as well as ILT pricing for CST and public training
Manage Education content lifecycle with regular proposals for new courses, retirements for the outdated content, translations planning and ensure effective roll-out to the Market Units (in collaboration with Demand Generation)
Provide reporting and insights to regional stakeholders outside of education of progress that creates interest and support for what the team does as well as support management decisions with detailed Education reporting (e.g. Price Analysis and modelling of future revenue developments)
Education AE/ISEE Portfolio Support
Assist in the onboarding process of new Education AEs/ISEEs around the entire Education Portfolio (Software, Education Consulting Services, Learning Hub, Training)
Support MUs in portfolio relevant business topics (e.g. Business cases for new education offerings, Heatmap Analysis)
Trusted advisor to various Partner organizations to ensure uniform upskilling using SAP Educational services
PreSales CoordinationResponsible for vetting all requests for Presales support (whether software/LH demo or Education Consulting) to ensure that opportunity size warrants an onsite demo, visit, etc. Determines if onsite vs. virtual is needed.
Attend Customer calls or onsite meetings to discuss training curriculum recommendations in support of large training plans
End of Quarter/End of Year supportAttend end of quarter/end of year “War Room” with GCO leadership, finance and Global Operations to ensure smooth and timely closing and processing of deals.Help manage forecast and estimated in/out of Cloud, On Prem, LH and SSRS deals
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Min. 5 Years SAP experience, preferably in an instructor role
Excellent knowledge of English (spoken, written)
Ability to work on projects both independently and collaboratively
Sound business acumen to understand and comprehend complex business requirements and translate into strategies that meet business priorities
Willingness to travel across EMEA
Education or BTS background additional asset
Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills
