PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
To help support the communications activities for SAP’s mid-sized and partner business (called Global Partner Organisation - GPO) within Northern Europe region.
Reporting to the Director of Communications for GPO across this region, this is an exciting new role will have two main goals:
Primarily, to drive the social media programme for GPO in EMEA North, including the development of new and innovative social content, end-to-end (film, written, creative) to promote SAP, its partners and its customer success stories;
Secondly, to support the Director of Communications for GC&GB with other local communications activities in the EMEA North region as required (events, internal comms, media relations, partner communications etc).
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The role will require someone well-versed and/or trained in video / media, and able to record video, edit and produce mini videos, write blog posts and other social content that can be posted on social media.
You will need to have a general interest and knowledge of social media, the ability to create mini videos from scratch, and able to write short articles, blogs or social content to post.
The candidate would need to be willing to travel across Northern Europe, if required, to carry out interviews with senior executives, and manage the content development end-to-end, from concept, through to development, editing, production, to post-analysis.
Additionally, the candidate will help support in driving the GPO social media calendar, and support with other communications activities (events, internal communications, etc.) as required.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Only students actively enrolled during the time of the internship can be considered. The internship starts in September 2018.
A university student studying media / film and video studies / communications / public relations
Strong social media skills – able to plan and execute then measure a social media campaign
Ability to record, edit and produce mini videos is a plus
Understanding of communications / Public relations
Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate well with people at all levels of an organization
Flexible, adaptable, willing to travel across the Northern Europe region
Fluent in English

Please also include details of your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
Someone who has also worked within a corporate environment, ideally within the communications, public relations or marketing team.
It would be beneficial if you have had experience in running a social programme end-to-end. This would have included researching and drafting the social content, managing the social calendar, though to measurement and analysis.
Experience in film – demonstrating your ability to develop and create mini films that can be posted on social media.
Experience in communications and public relations is also desirable.
The candidate would need to have demonstrated ease and comfort at working with senior executives within SAP and our partner ecosystem
