Job Overview

  • Captures alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from vendor invoices into the capture system following format displayed on screen and in accordance to client guidelines.

  • Compares data with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format to detect errors.

  • Confirms accuracy of data such as vendor name, invoice number, invoice amount, invoice date, PO number, tax, shipping and invoice owner.

  • Locates and corrects data entry errors, or reports them to supervisors.

  • Maintains logs of activities and completed work.

  • Tracks daily productivity and skipped invoices

  • Suggests quality programs to minimize and detect errors.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or equivalent knowledge, experience, and skill set

  • Ideally should have six (6) months of back office and/or data encoding experience
