The Field Marketing Senior Specialist for the Midwest will develop and manage field marketing plans that contribute to achieving business goals. This position involves executing integrated marketing strategies, campaigns and activities to generate leads, build sales pipeline, and enhance SAP Ariba’s brand awareness and product/solution knowledge among prospects and customers. This position has primary ownership for the planning, execution and analysis of marketing activities, including tracking and reporting.

This position works closely with Sales, Business Development, Pre-Sales, Global Marketing, and field marketing counterparts in the region.

The candidate must possess a wide range of B2B marketing and communications skills with flair for event management, online marketing, account based marketing, lead management, partner marketing. Experience with the North American market is a must and lines of business buying behavior previous experience will be an added advantage.

The ideal candidate will have all the functional skills and be able to approach marketing objectives with creativity, earn trust from internal and external partners, manage multiple projects gracefully, and balance competing priorities in a fast-past environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage planning, development, content, budget, project management and successful implementation of integrated marketing programs for audiences including awareness, demand generation, pipeline building, acceleration.

  • Collaborate with various internal and external teams including global, regional and local teams to capitalize on the marketing mix with emphasis on the customer. Orchestrates with branding, content, communications, data, marketing intelligence & operations, online, digital and social media, partners, customer references, sponsorships, and events to create integrated audience specific programs and campaigns

  • Develop and manage marketing plan, including integrated campaigns, corporate events, industry conferences and tradeshows, online, partner marketing, account based marketing campaigns—from launch through follow-up

  • Plan, create and execute all marketing activities and report results

  • Drive lead generation and marketing automation programs

  • Manage local agency relationships, ensuring that marketing programs are executed flawlessly and meet goals

  • Manage on-line marketing programs designed to maximize regional website traffic and web leads

  • Manage Events such as Conferences, seminars, trade shows and Webinars in conjunction with event lead in the team

  • Manage content localization and development – web content, collateral, white papers, case studies

  • Collaborate with the Customer Marketing team to drive customer advocacy

  • Stakeholder Management - Strongly align with business stakeholders to ensure marketing programs closely align to business and sales goals. Share knowledge and expertise. Support/enable the sales organization through delivery of key customer assets and stories.

Education, Experience & Training required:

  • Degree level education with 5-8 years experience in B2B software industry ideally with cloud-based experience

  • Experience developing and executing successful lead gen and sales marketing plans targeting lines of business

  • Experience with marketing automation (Marketo) a plus

  • Project leadership (medium to large-scaled projects)

  • Native English
