SAP Successfactors Customer Success/Lower GB MU LEADER

SAP Successfactors Presales team supports HCM sales and customer care in driving new business and customer opportunities across SAP’s North America. The Customer Success team is a strategic SC Organization for SAP Successfactors and provides a great opportunity for Presales to have a strong impact on the organization’s overall success and recurring revenue stream. Furthermore, with SAP’s vision of helping the world run better and improve people lives, the customer success MU is in a great position to see the impact of achieving SAP’s vision.

Presales Market Unit Leader:

The Presales Market Unit Leader (MUL) partners with the Regional Vice President and CEE Organization to achieve the revenue target for the region and the upsell/cross-sell campaigned required. S/he will qualify opportunities, drive go to market strategy for the region, and work with the sales team to support sales strategies by engaging with the appropriate presales team. The MUL leader with spend time focused on programs to efficiently support the install base customers in support of selling more software and protecting the annual renewal. Equally important, the MUL will coach and mentor the presales team to deliver outstanding customer engagements. In this regional business, the MUL role may travel up to 25% of the time.

Customer Success Market Unit Leader Role:

  • Drives Go-to-market Strategies with the Market Unit Regional VP in LGB

  • Prioritize team of people to support sales efforts of the MU

  • Direct/Support partners to consume demand for demonstrations and relationships with prospects

  • Facilitate effective regional/market unit integration with Global Community Leads and the Solution Hub regarding industry-specific processes and content.

  • Provides leadership and direction in the implementation of presales best practices.

  • Develop presales team to have the right mix of product, industry, and selling acumen to support the needs of the Market Unit today and into the future

  • Deliver sales plays based on what is working in the field to help drive additional pipeline and larger deals in the region

  • Manage the cost of sale both in the number of resources aligned to a deal and travel expenses associated with a given opportunity

  • Engage and lead projects to underline our focus on CUSTOMERS for Life

  • Deploys virtual resources to effectively engage with customers and prospects.

  • Leverages and monitors key reports and other KPIs specific to the presales organization to make decisions and changes based on available analytical analysis .

Work Experience:

  • 8 years of relevant presales experience with 1-2 years of people management experience

  • 1-5 years supporting the install base in a software renewal based business model

  • Proficiency in one or more application areas from SAP solutions.

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement
