EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Your job will be to ensure that exactly the right information is available in the right place, at the right time; the customer will benefit from concise and accurate help that clearly describes the functions provided by the SAP applications.
Working as an info developer, your main responsibilities will include:
Creating and updating user assistance (UA) deliverables that enable end users to configure and use our functionality (Terminology, UI texts, Application help, …), within a Best Practices project using the appropriate templates, Standards & Guidelines and specific terminology.
Proof-reading and editing user interface and online help texts for usability and readability.
Creating system documentation.
Ensuring quality aspects and adherence to standards and guidelines.
Coordination of translation activities.
Understand the business processes of the topic you will be working for, and its bigger context
Collaboration with other info developers in our area and in other areas.
Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to constantly improve the quality of your deliverables
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
A good to excellent university degree in technical writing, translation, English or business administration.
Should possess an excellent oral and written knowledge of English with Outstanding Vocabulary.
Proven Experience in technical writing.
Proven experience in documentation tools and documentation standards as well as MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
Flexibility and a readiness to communicate with other team members and to participate in knowledge transfer.
The ability to take initiative and work independently.
Willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice.
The ability to work to tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality.
Experience creating social media and multimedia assets (for example blogs, how-to videos, or e-learnings) will be an added Advantage.
