The SAP Labs operate in four major development areas: Globalization Services, Application Innovation Services, S/4HANA User Experience and S/4HANA Finance. Developers are directly involved in the newest products, which SAP plans to bring to market, using the latest technology such as in-memory computing, cloud-based applications, and advanced user interfaces.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Globalization Services helps SAP customers around the globe to be compliant with legal regulations.
Our team is focusing on developing country specific functions of SAP S/4HANA in the cloud and also on premise.
We are responsible for localization of the SAP finance products - for example national tax laws or country specific payment formats and other regulations in over 40 countries.
In our work, we collaborate with development teams in other SAP locations such as Germany, Brazil, China, India and USA as well as with partners and customers around the globe.
As a member of the development team in Brno, you will analyze and develop country specific requirements for the SAP financial solutions together with experienced colleagues in both, technical and financial area.
After joining the team, you will be provided with technical and business training and your colleagues will share their knowledge with you.
Design and develop new legal requirements across many countries
Build up and expand business knowledge within and beyond Financial Accounting
Working in Scrum mode with Agile SW Development and Design Thinking
Write the software with highest quality to meet the expectation of customers across the globe
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
University master degree in an IT or a related discipline (computer science, physics, mathematics, business economics etc.) or another adequate qualification.
Programming skills in at least one common programming language (ABAP is an advantage)
Team player with a strong ability to network and with the drive for tangible results
Fluent in English (both spoken and written) German language ability is an advantage
- 5 years of experience with software development (experiences in financial area is advantage.)
