The SAP Hybris Business Consultant is responsible for the strategic success of consulting engagements measured by quantifiable business outcomes.
Business Consultants work closely with SAP Hybris colleagues (across practices), implementation partners and client stakeholders throughout various lines of business to understand strategic drivers and tactical needs. This provides opportunities for collaboration and influence across internal and external decision making which ensures stability, usability, and scalability are delivered with each engagement.
Business Consultants may be responsible for leading the project delivery team to success by leveraging professional omni-channel experience and best judgement to assess and adjust scope. Additional responsibilities may include managing resource schedules and overall project budgets during the project delivery lifecycle to maximize business results and client satisfaction.
•Lead group workshops to identify strategic drivers and develop required use cases, functional requirements, and technical requirements.
•Provide analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and documenting system requirements and procedures that are cost effective and meet business objectives and user needs.
•Ensure quality and relevance of user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, data models, and process flow diagrams to control engagement scope, sustain high delivery quality and ultimately deliver the project successfully.
•Collaborate with project manager and SAP Hybris Service Delivery Managers (SDM’s) to develop project delivery plan, applying knowledge of the requirements and past project delivery experience to help identify risks and prioritize tasks.
•Provide expertise on the functional use of SAP Hybris Commerce, it’s various administrative cockpits and the SAP Hybris Accelerators. Lead client discussions mapping business requirements to the SAP Hybris platform.
•Provide consultation to client stakeholders and business users in omni-channel-specific business topics, including product catalog modeling, inventory management, pricing strategy, shipping & freight, taxes, international commerce, customer service, b2b customer management, b2b procurement, demand generation, promotion strategy, conversion optimization, cross-channel commerce and more.
•Accountable for successful completion of projects/programs. Champions accountability by example.
•Lead cross-functional project delivery teams in the identification and resolution of business or systems issues.
•Apply advanced functional | technical principles, theories, and concepts related to requirements, data, usability and process analysis.
•Direct the configuration and maintenance of project team collaboration space and issue/task management system (i.e. Quality Center, Confluence, JIRA, SPIRA, etc.) Work with team members to maximize the value of these systems and set a good example in their use.
•Understand SAP Hybris data structures, facilitate discussions about data models and leverage expertise and past experience to anticipate business implications of data modeling decisions and make necessary compromises.
•Act as a bridge between the client, technical and creative teams; facilitating internal, technical and client design reviews; and ensuring that delivered application remains true to the creative design.
•Apply expertise and experience to draw insights from analytics data (e.g. AOV, page-views, visits, unique visits, line items per order, conversion rates) to identify opportunities to improve KPI’s (key performance indicators)
•Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business or other related field
•Minimum of 10 years of experience working in both corporate and consulting firm capacities.
•Experience of implementing and/or supporting large web based applications server-based systems/networks, ideally within an external customer facing and SLA- driven environment.
•Experience in leading and delivering a full-lifecycle implementation
•Knowledge on software architecture and multiple project methodologies: waterfall, agile, Scrum, et al.
•Experience with Java/J2EE
•Experience with SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) and S/4 HANA is an asset.
•Concrete understanding of SAP Hybris Application Lifecycle Framework
•Problem solving skills, tenacity, drive, proactive, creativity, sound planning and organizational abilities, strong improvement focus
•Ability to work in a fast-evolving and fast paced environment
•Very good English language skills (verbal & written)
•Willingness to travel as required (30 to 75%).
