PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP New Ventures & Technologies is a strategic innovation entity within SAP, combining software engineering excellence with thought leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. Across various focus clusters and by building on strong teams, we pioneer game-changing solutions in close collaboration with startups, customers & partners in industry and research as well as with other SAP units. To ensure a successful go-to-market, we follow an end-to-end responsibility approach.

By exploring unconventional ideas and developing inspiring proofs of concept, we push the state of the art in computer science and its applied fields to provide SAP with foresight into future trends.

The SAP Leonardo Machine Learning Foundation team is looking for a highly-motivated individual to support a team of experts including developers, data scientist, devops engineers, and architects with a variety of administration tasks. To success in this role you will need to have good communication and organizational skills and a strong desire to dive into new areas and drive them to completion. We offer a young an international working environment with flat hierarchies in the heart of Berlin (Hackescher Markt).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Working Student for Operations and HR in Berlin, you will support the team with organizational and administrative tasks such as:

  • Organization of meetings and internal events

  • Supporting the recruiting, hiring and onboarding process, like screening of CVs, scheduling of interviews, candidate correspondence

  • Internal communication, e.g. updating internal website, preparation of presentations

  • Coordination of travel arrangements

  • Perform general administrative tasks and reporting

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Currently enrolled as Student at a university or a university of applied sciences

  • Preferred fields of study: Business, Marketing, Communications

  • Computer skills: Work experience with MS Office

  • Language skills: English (fluent both spoken and in writing), German is desirable

  • Soft skills: Outstanding organizational and time management skills to support the team keeping timelines and reaching milestones; ability to work independently; demonstrating commitment and a sense of responsibility; excellent team player and communicator

  • Ideally first work experience in an administrative and HR related field.
